Year 6 Leavers

We would like to wish our Year 6 Class all the very best as they begin their new and exciting adventure at high school.

They have all been absolutely amazing and will be remembered  as a very special class. Their SATs results are testament to their hardworking and dedicated approach to school. We will never forget them and we hope they come back and see us soon.

They are all are superstars and will achieve many great things in life.

All the very best

Pop Up Coffee

Our year 6 children hope to establish a new school based business which will develop further links with schools overseas.

We have established links and contact with a village in Uganda (school and farmers) in order to sell their Coffee beans for a fair price and set up Pop Up Coffee shops within our area. With help from various designers we hope to develop a sustainable Coffee Trike which will distribute our goods. Our idea is to sell the Coffee at Football matches. We have agreed this in principle with Burnley Football Club and we are in negotiations with other football clubs.

Please come back and see how the children progress with their business idea.

Padiham St Leonard’s

St Leonard’s C of E Primary School is a Voluntary Aided Church of England Primary School in the Diocese of Blackburn.

Nestling in the shadow of Pendle, our school is easily accessible from the M65 motorway and the Padiham by-pass  a short distance from Burnley, Higham, fence and surrounding areas.

The school has a rising school roll which at the moment stands at 200 in addition to 52 part-time places in our delightful Nursery.

We are committed to delivering a high standard of teaching and learning therefore, to this end, we have a high ratio of staff to children, with every class having a teacher and full-time support adult.

Sustainability is fundamental to the school’s ethos. Many of our learning paths and activities are produced and planned using ethical methods and resources.

Please stay tuned in order to find out about the children’s views and activities. Pictures and links to videos will be posted shortly.
